Cool little place when out for a walk. Nice view too. Stopped by for a beer and snack.

We ordered the potato pierogi and the burger with pastrami. This could be one of the best burgers I've ever had! The restaurant is an unassuming kiosk on the Embarcadero, and it would be easy to miss. Don't miss it! It is well worth the visit!

We discovered this hidden gem while strolling along the bayfront during Comic-Con, and it was a fantastic find. Despite the crowds in the area, there was no line, and we were met with excellent service. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding with a cold beer while taking in the beautiful bay view. Super casual spot near the Rady Shell. They have fishing rods, gear, and bait for those who want to fish off the small pier. They have a few different burger and sausage options, pierogis, tacos, beer, ice cream, etc. Note, they don't have fries! The menu is small, but is perfect for those fishing at the pier or wanting a quick bite. We've walked past it so many times and finally made an effort to try the burgers. I got the All American (added bacon) and my husband got the Baja burger with a side of pierogis. Burgers were large and tasty. Also note, they all come with a tomato aoli. I would've liked the bacon to be crispy, but it was fine. The pierogis were surprisingly great! They have a small fenced in area with seating (most have umbrellas) or you could take your food to go and enjoy anywhere in the peninsula park. Really nice bay views from their spot though! The man who served us was friendly and patient while we were deciding. Food was made fresh and put in about 10 minutes.

This is a hidden gem behind the convention center. I really enjoy this spot as a place to take a break during a leisurely bike ride down by the Harbor. The burgers are good and you can grab a pint of beer if you please. I believe they also make TJ dogs if that's your thing. The seating is outdoor. It's just a really chill spot and I will continue to come here as long as they're around.

Hoped on the wrong Ferry from Coronado and ended up at San Diego Convention Center. Found Burgers, Bait & Beer and our crew had a great lunch off the pier. Rave reviews on the American Burgers! I had something called the Kraken. Beef sausage with grilled shrimp, caramelized onions and corn in a chipotle sauce. Drinks and meals are ordered in the small building. The food is cooked in an outside kitchen. Seating is outside or along the pier. Ambience is "dive bar hole in the wall" in the most positive sense. You can also rent a fishing rig for $20 dollars a day and fish off the pier. Restroom facilities are next door in the public park facilities.

Small place down from the convention by the water. I got the Baja burger which was good. Unfortunately, this place doesn't have fries and only chips tho. They also have limited seating with room for more table and chairs they can put in. Not many places to sit to get out of the sun aside from that.

This is certainly a straight-forward, simple and perfectly located hangout spot. As you can see from my signage pic, and the other outside pics, it's a very simple place: 1 small building and 1 food trailer. There is only an outside seating area, but there was ample umbrella coverage. We sat facing the pier and were entertained by walkers, fisher people, and of course, the dogs. At this end of the marina, it's a much quieter vibe than over by Sea Port Village. People walk slower and those fishing are very sociable. Our beer was cold - so how could one complain? There is a small fenced seating area, but if it's too crowded, you have a whole, big park to find your own place to watch the boats go by. This is a nice quite niche, in a busy part of the greater Embarcadero area.

Based on the name alone I had to come. It's a small local place right on the water by Rady Shell. The service is top notch polite and helpful with suggestions. Tried the TJ dog and a burger. Can't wait to try the tacos and I hear other specials pop up as well. Grab a drink, some good food, and watch the boats go by.
